医学人文英语课程建设团队是一支实力雄厚、成果丰硕的省级优秀课程教学团队，自2017年正式组建以来，长期深耕医学人文与英语教育交叉融合领域，聚焦医学生人文素养与双语能力协同培育，致力于创新医学英语育人新模式。团队师资梯队完善、人才结构合理，现有核心成员23人，包括教授1名、副教授5名、讲师15名、助教2名，博士6名，形成了资深教授领航、中青年骨干教师为主力的高水平教研队伍，教研底蕴扎实，教学改革经验丰富。
团队坚持立德树人根本任务，持续创新育人体系，2021年牵头设立医学人文英语特色班，创新推行零度课程教学模式。团队打破传统医学英语重语言、轻人文的教学局限，将医学人文精神培育贯穿英语教学全过程，在语言训练中渗透医德素养、人文情怀与职业素养教育，帮助学生在提升专业英语表达与应用能力的同时，全方位塑造高尚的医学人文素养，构建起“语言能力+人文素养”双向提升的特色育人体系。
团队深耕课程建设与教学改革，教研成果层级高、覆盖面广。教材建设方面，先后编撰出版《医学人文英语》《高级英语写作-医学人文篇》《医学人文英语拓展教程》等系列教材共7册，获评广东省优秀教材、国家规划教材，形成系统化的医学人文英语教学资源体系。课程建设成果突出，课程先后获评广东省课程思政示范课程，成功入选国家级一流课程，育人示范价值显著。
依托零度课程教学改革实践，团队斩获多项重量级教学奖项，先后荣获2项广东省教育教学成果奖、中华医学会教育技术成果奖一等奖。同时，团队持续丰富数字化教学资源，自主研发精品微课96件，发表专著1部，教学改革成果优质典型入选《人民网》，社会影响力与行业认可度高。未来，团队将持续深化医学人文英语教学改革，优化特色育人模式，打造更高质量的国家级特色课程体系。
Introduction to the TCM Culture English Curriculum Development Team
Founded in 2023, the TCM Culture English Curriculum Development Team is a professional teaching and research group dedicated to the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture, digital innovation in English curriculum construction, and the integration of teaching research and practical education. The team features a complete and well-structured faculty echelon with ten core members, including one professor, four associate professors, and five lecturers，six of whom hold doctoral degrees. It has formed a high-level research and teaching team led by senior experts and supported by young and middle-aged academic backbones. All team members possess solid research foundations and extensive frontline teaching experience, with outstanding strengths in curriculum development and innovative teaching reform.
Centering on the inheritance and international dissemination of traditional TCM culture and responding to the reform trends of foreign language education in the new era, the team focuses on an integrated educational model of “TCM culture + English education + artificial intelligence”. To improve the hierarchical and categorized talent training system, the team actively promotes pedagogical innovation by launching a series of innovative micro-courses on TCM culture in English and establishing a specialized micro-major in TCM cultural English. These initiatives enrich educational carriers, expand students’ learning channels, and effectively address the shortage of bilingual teaching resources and the imperfect talent cultivation system in TCM bilingual education, thereby constructing a digital, distinctive, and systematic English education system for TCM culture.
Since its establishment, the team has achieved fruitful and exemplary outcomes in curriculum resource development and teaching reform. In textbook construction, empowered by artificial intelligence technology, the team has compiled and published the four-volume innovative textbook series English Course of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture. Officially included in the “14th Five-Year Plan” textbook project sponsored by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the series provides standardized, systematic, and high-quality resources for TCM bilingual teaching. Meanwhile, the team has developed 48 high-quality micro-lessons and built a three-dimensional online teaching resource library, enabling in-depth integration of traditional classroom instruction and digital teaching.
The team has received numerous national-level honors in intelligent teaching innovation. Its self-developed bilingual intelligent agent for TCM culture has been selected as one of the Top 100 Excellent Cases by the State Language Commission and won the National First Prize in a competition hosted by the China Association for Educational Technology. These achievements fully demonstrate the team’s leading capacity in AI-enabled curriculum reform and intelligent international communication of TCM culture.
In the future, the team will further optimize the educational system of micro-majors and micro-courses, improve the matrix of digital teaching resources, and deepen research on bilingual TCM education and cross-cultural international communication. Committed to cultivating interdisciplinary talents with solid TCM cultural literacy, proficient English communication competence and global vision, the team aims to build a distinctive and influential teaching and research brand for bilingual TCM education nationwide.
